I have worked on various infrastructures and buildings projects at pre-bidding & post-bidding stage
i.e.., Lusail Expressway, Doha Metro Project, Local Roads & Drainage Programme (LRDP) Following is
a brief on major assignments where I performed post bid in past few years.
1. Lusail Expressway Project – Utility Compound Project
o Client = Public Works Authority
o Consultants = CDM Smit
o Main Contractor = Hyundai Engineering & Construction (HDEC)
o Project value = QR. 75 million.
o Total Man-hours = 625,000 man-hours to complete the project.
o Completion Date = Aug 2017
2. Enabling Works at Stations and Switch boxes and Road Works and Area Grading works
at Doha Metro-RLS Package:
The project is Doha Metro Red Line South where our scope of work included following:
o Earthworks at a stations of Al-Matar C and a switch box M10/11. A fast track job where total
quantity of approx... 950,000 cu.m is to be excavated in 5 months period
o Area Grading/earthworks of approx. 675,000 sqm area and construction of 2km asphalt road
within MLPA.
3. Renovation of Qatar Radio Television Corporation Complex

A distinguished project of development of the state owned Qatar Radio & TV Corporation Complex.
Total plot area is 244,000M2 and the scope of works included construction of internal roads network
with all underground services i.e., drainage, sewerage, potable water networks, all soft landscaping
works with automated irrigation system, pergolas, parking sheds, walkways, and external lighting,
construction of 09 multi-function buildings, three underground irrigation tanks, etc.
o Total Value of the Project = QR 150,000,000
o Project Timelines = 15- June 2010~ 31-Dec-2013
o Client = Public Works Authority (PWA)
o Total Man-hours = 1.85 million


4. Sea Water Intake Pump House – Mesaieed “2000 MW” A IPP Project
It’s a prestigious project wherein 2000 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant is built by M/s Iberdrola in
Mesaieed, Qatar. Our scope of work was to build a 14 meter deep Sea Water Intake Pump House
next to the sea. A very interesting, challenging and fast track project requiring earth retention
system, extensive dewatering and excavation exceeding 14 meters below ground level.
o Client = Qatar General Electricity & Power
o Main Contractor = Iberdrola
o Consultants = Parsons Barkinhoff
o Project value = QR. 25 million.
o Total Man-hours = 225,000 man-hours to complete the project.
o Completion Date = April 2010
5. Construction of Three (03)-Mosques Project for Public Works Authority (PWA)
The 3 Mosques Project is the construction of one Friday mosque and two daily mosques in Doha,
Qatar for PWA. It’s a fast track project to be completed in 8 months. Total value of the project
exceeds QR 9 Million. It required approximately 115,000 man-hours to complete
6. EPIC OF Geology Laboratory at Dukhan Fields
It was a project of Qatar Petroleum in Dukhan fields of Western Qatar. It comprised construction of
an additional block to Geology Laboratory. The project duration was twelve months and total man-
hours approximately 120,000. The project was completed one (01) month before its planned
completion date.

7. Enabling Works Package of Doha Convention Center & Tower
The project was the enabling works package of Doha Convention Centre and Tower involved
installation of earth retention system along the site perimeter, excavation at different levels i.e., to
about 8m depth for double basement parking at the Hotel, Office, Residential and Retail Structures,
to around 11m depth at the Convention Centre and to about 15.5m depth at the 100 Storey. Total

area of site was 124,000 sqm
