5. Formation of groups
- Teacher/s to hand out one ‘Match up card’ to each student, > ‘Match up cards’
students are then to find their partner with the matching card. This
is their group for the experiment.
- Teacher/s to instruct “Once finding your partner, collect ONE iPad > Instruction Slips &
and ONE instruction slip for your choice of experiment and find a iPads
space in the room”

2. Teacher’s to introduce lesson reflection task of completing a ‘Quizlet’ > ‘Quizlet Live’ App
and to display QR code for the activity on the board, readily available
for students to scan. The teacher/s will also be handing out one iPad
to each student.
4. When the quiz starts the first question appears on all of the student’s
devices in the group, and a portion of the answers from the entire
quiz. Students then need to communicate with each other to work out
who in the team has the right answer on their screen. It encourages
accuracy over speed as if students get the question wrong, they have
to start again from the beginning. It helps consolidate their knowledge
of the content as they get live feedback. It also activates and
enhances their interpersonal skills as they have to communicate with
their teammates for every question.
