Dear Fathers, Sisters and Brothers …

Greetings from the Provincial Administration, Chennai.

• I would like to re-cap the past significant and upcoming glorious events.
• On 28th of September, Bro. Aruldhas Durai Lourdu Samy MMI was ordained as Deacon by Most Rev. Dr.
Thomas Aquinas DD, Bishop of Coimbatore. It was held in our Christ the King Engineering College at
Coimbatore.
• On 3rd of October, We celebrated the Birthday of Fr. Hermas. We had mass in Kovoor in which Fr.
Founder, Fr. Roland and senior sisters and also many others participated.
• We had “MMI Administrators Meeting” in provincialate on 5th of October in which all the Administrators
participated. Sr. Vyagu took one hour session in which she helped them to maintain the account in proper.
• On 9th of October, Fr. Provincial met the parish priest of Rajakkamangalam Thurai and discussed about
the Ordination which is going to be held on 6th of December. He also visited Aralvaimozhi parish.
• Fr. Founder and Sr. Virgin left for London on 14th of October for preparatory meeting of ACWW. So all
the fathers and sisters gathered and sent off to Fr. Founder.
• On 16th of October, Fr. Founder and Sr. Virgin came back from London. Fr. Founder told that the meeting
was successful.
• On 18th of October, We had meeting at Joe Beach in which all the sisters from first to eight group and
fathers from first to third group participated. We discussed about the following important events, they are
as follows i) Christmas gathering ii) MMI Second General Chapter (14-17th Nov) iii) Opening of Joe
Beach (18th Nov) iv) MMI Ordination in Joe Beach (19th Nov) v) MMI Ordination in Rajakkamangalam
Thurai (06th Dec).
• On 19th of October, we started our Monthly Recollection for Priests with Adoration. Mr. Valan a lay
preacher was invited to preach and he gave us wonderful thoughts to ponder over our life as priests.

The upcoming events are---

• The forthcoming days are most important and significant days for the DMIs and MMIs.
• Our Deacons are going to start their retreat on 4th of November in our St. Joseph Residential School,
Sriperumbudur. The retreat preacher will be Rev. Fr. Francis OMI.
• Our patron Bishop His Grace Most Rev. Dr. Vitorio Pavanello SDB will reach Chennai on 11th of
November.
• We are going to have our “MMI Second General Chapter” from 14th of November to 17th of November.
• On 18th of November, Joe Beach will be blessed by His Grace Most Rev. Dr. A.M.Chinnappa SDB, the
Archbishop of Chennai, Mylapore and it will be opened by His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Neethinathan DD,
Bishop of Chingleput.
• On 19th of November, seven of our deacons are going to be ordained as priests by Most Rev. Dr. Vitorio
Pavanello DD SDB, the Archbishop of Campo Grande, Brazil and Homily will be given by Most Rev. Dr.
Lawrence Pius DD, The Auxiliary Bishop of Chennai, Mylapore. The Ordination will be held in Joe
Beach.
• On 6th of December, seven of our deacons are going to be ordained as priests by Most Rev. Dr. Peter
Remigius DD, Bishop of Kottar. The ordination is going to be held for first time in Rajakkamangalam
Thurai, the native place of our Fr. Founder.
• Dear Fathers, Sisters and Brothers, Kindly pray every day for these important events of our societies so
