Content Standard: The learner demonstrates:

creation and communication of meaning in the Philippine Festivals and Theatrical Forms
as influenced by history and culture.
 Theater and performance as synthesis of arts and significant expression of the celebration
of life in various Philippine communities.
Performance Standard: The learner:

 create appropriate festival attire with accessories based on authentic festival costumes.
 Create/improvise appropriate sound, music, gesture, movements and costumes for a
chosen theatrical composition.
 Takes part in a chosen festival or in a performance in theatrical play.

Learning Competencies: Identify the festival and theatrical forms celebrated all over the country throughout
the year.

Unit no. 4 Topic: Non-Religious Festival (Panagbenga, Masskara, Duration: 60 minutes


kaamulan, and kadayawan festival)

Learning At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
