SAFETY 1. IDENTIFICATION

2 HAZARDS This preparation does not contain any ingredients in amounts requiring the
IDENTIFICATION preparation to be classified as hazardous under REACH, CHIP or other EC
regulations but bodily contact could have some adverse effects:
EYE CONTACT: Could cause irritation.
SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged contact could cause irritation.
INHALATION: Not normally applicable.
INGESTION: Unlikely in normal use but if a large amount is swallowed'
medical help should be obtained

3. COMPOSITION Synthetic oil blend with lithium complex thickener and 3% molybdenum disulphide.

4. FIRST AID EYE CONTACT: Irrigate with copious water.


MEASURES SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water. Apply barrier cream.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical help immediately

5. FIRE FIGHTING If involved in a fire, thermal products of incomplete combustion of the preparation
MEASURES are oxides of carbon, nitrogen,sulphur, molybdenum and antimony, acrolein,
lithium compounds, hydrogen sulphide,aldehydes,smoke and irritating fumes.
Firefighters should wear protective equipment and suitable breathing apparatus.
EXTINGUISHERS: Use extinguishers suitable for the surrounding fire.

6. ACCIDENTAL MINOR SPILLAGE: Wipe up with rags and remove residue with detergent
RELEASE cleaner. Keep out of drains or water courses.
MEASURES MAJOR SPILLAGE: Contain spillage. Contact emergency services
.
7. HANDLING Store at 0 - 40°C in dry conditions. Keep away from heat and flames. Keep away
& STORAGE from strong oxidising agents. Keep container tightly closed.

8. EXPOSURE No exposure limits known for this preparation. No special ventilation requirements.
CONTROLS/ If prolonged bodily contact is likely, take commonsense precautions as follows:
PERSONAL EYES: Wear goggles if any likelihood of eye contact.
PROTECTION SKIN: Use a barrier cream and/or wear gloves

9. PHYSICAL & APPEARANCE: Grey coloured grease.


CHEMICAL ODOUR: Slight smell of grease.
PROPERTIES FLASH POINT: 203°C Open cup (for the synthetic oil content).
SOLUBILITY: Insoluble in water.

10.STABILITY & Stable in normal use. Reactive with strong oxidising agents.If heated to combustion,
REACTIVITY may release substances and fumes listed under Heading 5 above.

11.TOXICOLOGICAL No known significant health effects or critical hazards known.


INFORMATION

12.ECOLOGICAL No known significant effects or critical hazards known but spillages of synthetic oil
INFORMATION greases should not be disposed of in drainage systems, in waterways or into the
soil, as this could lead to contamination of water supplies.

13.DISPOSAL Waste should not arise in normal use and should be avoided. If it does, dispose of
CONSIDERATIONS via civic waste site or authorised waste contractor. It is not believed to constitute
hazardous waste as defined by EU Directive 91/689/EC.
14.TRANSPORT
INFORMATION No special labelling required for transport .

15. REGULATORY This preparation has been classified according to EC regulations.

16. OTHER Preparation is unlikely to present any significant health or safety hazard when
