Tips: Fish sauce is very salty and strong in flavour. Start with a
small amount (less than lime juice).
The ratio of fish sauce to lime juice to sugar depends on
your preference. Start with a little bit of everything, then
keep adding to suit your taste.
Recipe: Sticky pineapple, cucumber and lettuce salad
Ingredients: For the salad:
Pineapple (cut into cubes)
Chilli
Ginger (finely chopped or minced)
Garlic (finely chopped or minced) (optional)
Cucumber (cut into cubes or sliced thinly)
Lettuce (shredded or sliced thinly)
Peanuts (toasted and chopped)
