Evaluation
1) Personal Fragility & the Fragility of our religious family: As our five fingers are not
same, so also in the community we are different from each other physically, spiritually & emotionally. Some
of us when we came across with misunderstandings, betrayals, difficult situations, confusions & problems,
instead of facing them wanted to run away from that kind of experiences, people & places. When we take one
step to God, God takes seven steps & where sin increased grace abounded all the more. When we took
courage & turned to God in surrender in those pain full moments, we have experienced the power of God
more powerfully & His graces abundantly. The support & encouraging words of sisters, Word of God from
the bible, above all the Holy communion & communion with God in personal prayer enabled us to accept
oneself as we are & others as they are.

2) Making ourselves “neighbours” to one another: We have experienced the closeness of

each other in the community, when our people at home are sick, community celebrations, School works, and
functions. We also felt the closeness of each other in times of sadness & discouragement. Our open dialogue
with each other is enabling us to understand the other one in a better way.

3) Receiving & Giving: As a community we make use of our God given talents & gifts for the
betterment of community & our mission work. We also give extra attention to the weaker students & a
listening ear to the parents & teachers when they come with problems, and difficulties, worries & sadness. We
try our best to guide & support each other through prayer to build a better community.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE – 2018
Community Project of life: Mission with and for the poor:
Evaluation:

I. Consecrated by Jesus for the mission:

Lines of Action
A. To revive in Prayer the zeal for the mission proper to our vocation and consecration: To revive our zeal for the mission proper to
our vocation and consecration, the community had decided to have a chain adoration of ten hours on every Monday. Praying for
the various intentions especially for oneself, others and for the mission of the church.
B. To share with the sisters our personal poverty and to understand better the poverty of others: Prayer helps us to accept the
strengths and limitations of every sister experiencing together the grace and mercy of God we co-operate with each other keeping
in mind mission with and for the poor.
C. To be ready to evangelize with our life and to update the methods and manner with which we carry out our educative mission:
Since the community focuses mainly on the educative mission, we adopt different methods and manners to educate the children in
the school. Some of the methods we follow are such as these; listening and studying the inner problem of a child, availing
conducive environment for the growth of the child, insertion of many stories from the bible while teaching the lessons to form the
person to recognize his/her own dignity and place in the world to grow into a child of God.
II. Enlightened by Jesus to respond to the new forms of poverty:
Lines of Action

A. To assume the gaze of the founders identifying the poverties of the place in order to meet the challenges: Our founders have
always identified the poverties of the places in order to meet the challenges of life. Keeping this in mind the community has
initiated to accommodate the ST& SC children in the hostel through the scheme of the Govt. of Odisha under 25% reservations to
the disadvantaged groups. And giving concession’s to the deserving students and educating freely the co-workers children who are
poorest of the poor.
III. Sent by Jesus to carry out acts of solidarity:
Lines of Action
A. To live the world day of the poor by following the invitation of the Holy Father, implementing as a community, moments of
encounter, friendship and concrete help towards them: The challenges of taking tender care of the most vulnerable ones of the
society (ST& SC children of the hostel) to gain their dignity and a place in the world truly revitalizes the spirit of the mission in the
Bhanjanagar.
Training the aspirants to discover and know themselves to make a specific decision in their life has been a challenging mission in
this place.
