 SPORTS EVENTS RULE BOOK
Carom
• Single, double and mixed double.
• There is no time limit.
• All the basic rules of carom has to be followed.
• Best of two will be selected.
• No using of thumb.

• Only two candidates amongst girls and boys will be selected.

 Chess
• Open tournament.
• Maximum 2 participants will be selected.
• All international chess rules.
• Game time: 10 minutes.
• Arbiter’s decisions will be final decisions throughout the tournament.

• Only two candidates amongst girls and boys will be selected.

Badminton
 SINGLES:
• 11 point game ,cross serve, best of 3 game for semi-final and finals/ start
up=11/15
• Every time there is a serve-there is a point scored
• The side winning a rally adds a point to its score
• At 10 all, the side which gains 2point lead first, wins that game.
• The side winning a game serves first in the next game.
• Only two candidates amongst girls and boys will be selected.

Run-Machine-Co-League (Cricket)
• A team consists of 11 players and 5 substitutes.
• All matches are in knockout format.
• Each innings consist of 8 overs.
• Umpires decisions will be final.
• Basic rules are followed.
• Bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs.

Volleyball
• A team must consist of 6 players and 3 substitutes.
 • Match point is 11 points.
• Best of 3 sets are followed.
• All basic rules of volleyball must be followed.
• Referee decision will considered as end decision.

Table tennis
• 11 point game. Each game is a knockout game.
• All basic rules of table tennis must be followed.
• Referee decision will considered as end decision.
• At the start of a new game, the player who served first in the previous game
becomes receiver and the receiver becomes server and so on, alternating after
each game.
• The players exchange ends after each game, and if play consists of more than
one game, in the deciding game of the match the players change ends when
one player reaches a score of 10 points.
• A game is won by the player who first scores 11 points with a 2-point margin.
• Singles, mixed and doubles formats.

 KABBADI
 Consists of 7 players a team
 Match will take place in 20 min, 10 min one half.
 After each half 5 min break.
