Job Purpose:

Responsible for Accounts and Commercial functions, including taxation matters. The ideal candidate will help
determine financial strategy and policy, arranging the appropriate funding and managing financial risks in the
organization. He will ensure if the company has the cash and liquidity to meet its obligations, will be involved in
securing credit from banks and other sources, tax, HR and compliance matters. He will be the SPOC for all
financial matters and one of the authorized signatories on financial documents.

Accounting Area’s:
Responsibilities:
 Ensure day today accounting of transactions on real-time basis by team.
 Review of trial balance of company on daily basis and take corrective
actions on errors observed.
 Ensure proper segregation between capital v/s revenue expenses
 Review of cash transactions and advances.
 Ensuring completion of all entries to ensure timely preparation of MIS.
 Review internal controls in accounting system and make suggestions.
 Finalization of accounts.
 Attend auditors, bankers.
 Scrutiny of accounts.
 Scrutinize and finalization of accounts.
 Prepare monthly cash flow statement.
 Guide team on accounting aspects.

Taxation
 Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance and advise head of department on
controls which can be introduced in ERP system to ensure stringent
compliance.
 Advance tax calculations and payment.
 System updating for tax law changes.
 Preparation of details for scrutiny cases.
 Tax planning.
 Other assignments on taxation.
 Ensure reconciliation of tax balances with returns and records.

Budgeting & MIS


 Help management in revenue budgeting
 Prepare MIS on budget V/S actual.
 Capital Budgeting and MIS on capex.
 Prepare MIS related to accounts and finance required by management.

Finance:
 Day to day scrutiny of financial affairs and advice HOD on improvements in
financial operations.
 Day To day Fund Management to minimize Finance cost.
 Day today Co-ordination with Bank.
 Review Proper maintenance of bank advices and other records.
 Review entries for Bank charges , interest and other charges.
 Review accounting for interest on bank FD and TDS thereon.

 Check the correctness of interest charged by bank from time to time on


various facilities.
 Prepare periodical bank wise comparative of chart for charges levied by
banks for various services and coordinate for reversal of excess if any.

Legal:
 Legal Compliances for Tax and Non – Tax as per the norms.

MIS creation:
 MIS creation and reports generation, sharing the same with the concerned
departments

Requisite Skills
 Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP). Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
 Strong analytical and accounting skills.
 Should be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial
sloppiness.
 Should be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data.
 Should have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours
necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause
greater than normal departmental pressures.
 Strong verbal, written communications skills
 Should have good interpersonal skills as they can be interacting with clients
and so customer care skills are very important.

 Preferably a Graduate in Commerce/MBA in Finance with profound


Education:
knowledge of Accounting and Financial principles.

Relevant Experience: 4-8 yrs


CTC per annum: Negotiable Total Experience: 4-8 Yrs.
