DAILY LESSON PLAN
I. Expected Outcomes: At the end of the period or at some particular points during
the period, the students are expected to: Know the festivals in our country and art
forms involved.
III. Strategies:
A. Classroom Routine: (Greetings, Introduction, Attendance, Uniform, ID,
Physical Arrangement, COB)
B. Presentation of Thrust: The objectives will be discussed first.
C. Motivation: play video about festivals
D. Application: Promote independence and honesty in doing individual task;
Promote attentiveness in listening
E. Lesson Proper:
1) Play the video about the different festivals.
2) Discuss the topic by powerpoint presentation.
3) Questions before having a short quiz.
4) Quiz.
5) Giving of assignment.
IV. Evaluation:
The students are able to draw their own vision of festival.
V. Generalization/Summary:
Philippine festivals doesn’t only involve activities, etc. It also involves different
kinds of arts. Through arts, the festival would be more enjoying and colorful.
VI. Agreement/Assignment:
1) Research for the meaning and history of Tinikling.
