Elite Series OBDII Communications

Main Connector (B)

CAN communications with the Elite 1500 and Elite 2500 ecu’s
is possible due to the availability of two independent CAN networks

Vehicle CAN - Used for Vehicle network communication


Haltech CAN - Used for Haltech devices communication

Independent networks can be assigned to either the


Main Connector or the Aux CAN Port depending on the
application and wiring requirements.

OBDII communications with the Elite 1500 and Elite 2500 ecu’s
is broadcast on the Vehicle CAN network ONLY.
OBDII information and diagnostic trouble codes ( DTC’s)
from the ECU can viewed and reset via a CAN compatible
OBDII scantool.
