Statement of Pedagogical Goals

The arts are an integral component of a well-rounded education. I am committed to creating a curriculum that will empower and transform my
students and community. Through engagement in the artistic process students build the necessary life-skills I refer to as the Five C’s; creativity,
communication, collaboration, confidence, and compassion. I am interested in building upon my experiences as a professional teaching artist and
educator by taking on the challenge of creating strong lessons that incorporate arts integration and provide students with creativity.
