This is a dark location and the lighting is very
unflattering. There are a lot of variations of light
throughout the shop which would make it difficult
to make the footage match.
Sound Information:
It is an enclosed space so the sound is quite good.
Noise of London can be heard from outside.
Power Information
There is plug sockets to charge a camera but this
would not be professional or practical.
Hazards
There are a lot of small spaces in this shop and it
would be hard to have a lot of equipment in these
spaces.
Use a suitable lens for the type of footage that I
want to get in certain areas of the shop. Use
artificial light such as a camera mounted light and a
light bounce to get even lighting throughout the
shots.
Solutions:
Use a suitable mic to get a better quality of sound.
The noise of London could be an issue especially
because my film is based in a small village.
Solutions:
Ensure that my camera is charged prior to filming at
this location. Take along two batteries in case one of
them dies. Retain a professional image by showing
up prepared.
Solutions:
Avoid bringing excess equipment to avoid tripping
hazards and only bring what I need for the shoot.

I decided not to choose this location because it is out of the way of all my other locations and the
surrounding area of London doesn’t suit my production when filming the shop front. If this was
based in a smaller village then I may have considered it more, however; my other location is more
suited for my production. This location was also slightly too modern for my shoot.
