ECE Track Elective 4

Progress Report – Week 1

For this week, the group has been assigned to prepare their training plan for the
output of this course which is the Training Program. SolidWorks and AutoCAD were the programs
that has been assigned to the group. Their Training Program will last 2 weeks (a week for
AutoCAD and another week for SolidWorks). AutoCAD will be taught on the first week of the
program and SolidWorks for the second week. At the end of each week, the group will give a
project to their respective audience in order to assess the learnings and skills that they will acquire.

Day 5: Project Creation

The target audience will be implementing what they have learned so far on this day. They
will be drawing the top, side, front and back views of a specific robot figure (application of 2D)
using AutoCAD. This robot figure has its own specific dimensions. After drawing the figure in
2D, they must now implement what they have learned in the 3D tutorial in order to draw the figure
in 3D (using AutoCAD also). Their basis in creating the 3D robot figure will be the 2D drawings
that they have created.
