Showtimes 5 or 7:30 pm, 90 minutes of circus fun for the whole

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite our community to join
us for the Law Enforcement - Special Olympics Torch Run on April 5th.
We carry the torch to support special needs children throughout the state of
Florida compete in the Special Olympics.
A big thank you to those who bought a T-shirt and to the sponsors, St. George
Island Trading Company, Apalachicola Ace Hardware, Suncoast Reality, Cates
Electric, Ard’s Tire Service, Century 21 Reality, Peoples South Bank, Centennial
Bank, and Lynn’s Seafood for helping fund this event!
The Apalachicola Run will Start at 9am at the ABC School going to Veterans
Memorial Park and ending at Battery Park.
The Eastpoint Run will Start at Taylor’s Building Supply and End at Bruce
Millender Parking Lot located at the Corner of 1st Street and HWY 98.
The Carrabelle Run will Start at the Foot of the Carrabelle Bridge and end at
George Sands Park on HWY 98.
*We will make our way to Eastpoint hopefully around 10am and then to

We, at Carrabelle Cares and the Carrabelle History Museum, are thrilled by the
turn out for our 3rd Annual Carrabelle Culture Crawl!!
The downtown area was literally “crawling” with visitors and locals enjoying art,
activities, food and music. Thank you to all the volunteers, organizations,
musicians, and local merchants that helped make this such a fun and enjoyable
spring day.
The Franklin County Landfill is having an unscheduled ‘Amnesty Day’ this
Saturday, 3/30/2019
Property owners in Franklin County are able to bring yard waste to the county
landfill on Highway 65 free of charge on Saturdays for the next month. The county
is trying to help landowners who still have storm debris from Hurricane Michael.
The county chose Saturdays because most people have to work during the week.
The amnesty program is for property owners only, not for contractors. The yard
trash amnesty Saturdays will run for March 30th through April 27th. The landfill
is on Highway 65 and will be open from 9 to 430 on Saturdays for the amnesty
program. You can call the landfill at 850-670-8167 with any question about the
