Result and Reflection on EPQ Test:

EPQ Test Result (Past):

- Idealism 36
- Relativism 32

EPQ Test Result (Recent):

- Idealism 30
- Relativism 33

From the difference between the two-test taken before and after this course, we can see that
I become less idealistic. This is possible because the course has taught me much about the
nuances in risks and judgement; there are simply no “best”, or “worst” choice based on the
risks posed by different actions, one should always compromise to decrease the risks and
maximize the gain. However, retaking the quiz also means that we have vague, or even
clear, recollection on the questions, hence the answers may become invalid, as we already
know our past result based our past answers. Nevertheless, the addition of a new “ethic
position” section in the result negates this effect. My result shows me that I am a
“Subjectivist”. This correctly shows my ethical position, as I always think that morality,
like one’s belief, is a matter of personal view, as well as ubringing and education. There
cannot be a clear line depending what is right or wrong, except on cases violating the basic
human right (right lo live, for example). Hence, we always need to adapt and hone our
morality by interacting with other people and critically assess the situation.
