 Wednesday, May 15th Students will continue writing their last names when signing in and learning how to Tornado Drill:

Fun Day Pictures:
Students have been writing the numbers 19 – 21 on the message board and have  Thursday, April 18th
been stating the number poems. This month they will learn to write the numbers 22
– 24.

We will continue to implement our new writing program called Writer’s Workshop
while continuing to follow the HighScope Curriculum. We will continue to modify
it to meet our student’s needs. Students will be learning how to stretch and sound
out words in order to form sentences. We are using invented spelling when it comes
to writing the words down. Also, we are helping students to memorize some sight
No School words. We encourage them to try their best and to not give up when they stumble Upcoming Birthdays
upon a hard word. Encourage your child to work on these strategies at home, too!
