Project Assembly Tool Design C27- J SPA

Customer ALENIA AERONAUTICA ITALY
Responsibilities Analysing the inputs, Aircraft components, Assemblies, sub-assemblies and
tooling data given by the client..
Project: Solid modeling of the various assembly tool components like Jigs,
Scaffolds and Step Stands which are used in shop floor aircraft assembly
tooling. Rework and modification of the components if necessary as per client
requirements and instructions at the time of review by the leads.

Work involved:
It involves modeling and drafting of the tools such as Simple jigs, Complex jigs,
Scaffolds, Step Stands, Fixtures etc which are used in shop floor aircraft
assembly tooling. Designing and drafting of the above tools by making use of
the aircraft components that are used in the structure design. Namely columns,
beams, stiffeners, supports, ‘C’-clamps, ‘L’- angles, and various hollow tubes (
Square, Rectangular and Circular ) with the help of NMG of the Aircraft.

Project :
Creation of 2D drawings related to the Electrical Harness (ATA-92) of the
Aircraft with respect to the different sections (13, 18) and then describing the
Bundles with the Brackets accordingly to the workman at the shop floor for
A380 Programme. Trouble Shooting and supporting the team in case of
technical queries related to the project, design standards and system related
issues. Quality Reviews by checking the 3D model in DMU and in Dvise using
VPM.
Work involved:
Detailed study of the inputs. Creating the input drawings for the cross checking
of the troubles erecting. Quality checking as per the Checklist provided by the
client. Documenting the errors found in the inputs. Responsible to address any
quality related issues.

Project Modeling, Detailing Of Structural Parts For C27-J SPARTAN Aircraft

Responsibilities Studying the inputs. 3D Modeling, Detailing of Cockpit, Center Fuselage, Rear
Fuselage & Wing Components using CATIA V5 , Creation of Weight sheets and
filling the Engineering forms in Team Center
Project :
The scope of the project is creation of 3D models (in Aircraft Coordinates) as
well as 2D drawings for the given data. The data received are checked for its
correctness and customer is informed through PPT if there is any data loss. 3D
modeling is done as per the received drawing following proper construction
methodology and by using proper loft contours (NMG’s) supplied. And supplied
standard part (NTA, ATA, AS, PAN, TAB etc.,) drawings are referred while
modeling standard parts.

Work involved:
Involves detailed study of the structural components with their locations in the
Alenia aircraft. Modeling of these structural components using aircrafts contours
(NMG’s).

Responsibilities The project associated with modeling and drafting of stiffeners, stringers and
angles riveted to Bulkheads, Managing the data using ENOVIA VPM, computer
aided assembly interference checking, support to manufacturing and assembly
shop in snag, production query disposition, support to the virtual reality group in
terms of supplying 3D CAD models

Project :
The project associated with modeling and drafting of stiffeners, stringers and
angles riveted to Bulkheads for the purpose of supporting the skin and increase
the rigidity of aircraft structure. Together with skin it resists bending moment
(BM) by developing axial stress, tension and compression.

Work involved:
This work involves detail study of the structural components with their locations
in the LCA trainer and LCA NAVAL aircraft. Modeling of these structural
components using aircrafts contours (NMG’s).
Inputs are received from our higher officers as manual 2D drawings, we have
to generate the 3D model by using CATIA V5 ENOVIA VPM and also assemble
the components in the assembly. Creation of manufacturing drawings. If any
upraisal of parts or assemblies comes, then that particular part or assembly
changes according to the change given in the change notice.
