TUNING IN: Weeks 1 and 2 Initial

We understand how our inquiry relates to the central idea.

Each person has brainstormed and shared what they already know.

We have created 3-5 lines of inquiry based on key concepts.

We created guiding questions that will help us understand our lines of inquiry.

We have created pages on our group blog to store our shared information.

We have read the class timeline and planned due dates to make sure our work is completed.

We have a plan of how we are going to find information using primary/secondary resources.

Each person has accepted responsibility for specific tasks.

Each person has completed a self-reflection and shared it with their group and mentor.

We have each written a reflection on this part of the process.

FINDING OUT & SORTING OUT: Weeks 3 and 4 Initial

We have found and used primary resources (interviews, surveys, observations, etc).

We have found, read and discussed secondary resources (books and websites).

We are keeping a record and bibliography of our sources.

We are all taking notes of what we find out under each line of inquiry.

We have discussed and decided what further information we need to find out.

We have made a plan of how to find this information.

Each person has accepted responsibility for specific tasks.

Each person has completed a self-reflection and shared it with their group and mentor.
