ABSTRACT
This qualitative research was conducted to compare direct way of communication and
School students here in the Cebu Institute of Technology- University. This comparative study
communication involves saying what a person thinks and feels, and it is marked by active listening
and effective feedback and on the other hand, people tend to depend on technology in which
participants not only exchange information, and feelings but also create and share meaning with
one another. Based on the results from the survey, the researchers found out that both direct and
communication specifically supposed to be used depending on the situation they are in.
