after trying to showcase something “alive” and so
he looked for the people with physical differences
to serve as his performers in the circus.

BUT SO
(The story’s problem) (Solution to the problem)

Despite being discriminated and judged by other

people, acceptance love, and respect is the key
to resolve the problem in which the characters in
the circus sung “This is me” that appears to have
a future as an anthem for the marginalized,

showcases Barnum’s human “oddities.” This is
the time they’ve found their own sense of power
and pride and the moment where they realize
they are who they are, and that everyone should
just accept it.

As an advocate of gender equality, I will begin creating a “single drop of caring act’ which I
hope shall create an endless ripple in the future by

Imbibing Gender Equality and Respect As Core Values. It is the mutual respect for all, irrespective of
their sex, caste, socio-economic status, religion, region and educational status. It is important to
imbibe mutual and unconditional respect, equality and opportunity amongst all to lay a strong
foundation for gender-equal society. Gender equality and female empowerment are core
development objectives, fundamental for the realization of human rights and key to effective and
sustainable development outcomes. No society can develop successfully without providing equitable
opportunities, resources, and life prospects for males and females so that they can shape their own
lives and contribute to their families and communities.

Greatest Problem Encountered: (Main conflict of the story)

Discrimination. It has a lot of kinds but here in the movie, the most highlighted is direct discrimination wherein
people with physical and personal characteristics are treated differently from other people. The foremost
example here in the movie is really how other people treat the oh-so-called ‘freaks’ which are the bearded
woman, the shortest man, the dog boy and etc., and because they fear to be judged, they hid themselves for a
long period of time.

Solution to Greatest Problem Encountered: (Actions taken by the characters to solve the conflict)
They conquered their fear of being judged and showed who they really are. We saw in the movie how brave
these people are in obliterating their concern of being judged. Although they are anxious at first, they’ve still
managed to overcome their fright and manifest their strengths, skills, and talents for other people to realize
that they shouldn’t be treated differently.

From the movie you have analyzed, how can a society of peace, equality, and harmonious living be achieved?
