The UP DOST Scholars’ Association, officially recognized in 1979, is a non-stock, non-profit, socio-academic
organization of DOST scholars in UP Diliman. The organization aims to promote science awareness among the
Filipino youth, advance science education in the Philippines, and enhance the development of each of its
member's skills and potentials.

This April 7 to 8, 2018, UP DOST SA will be holding the National DOST Scholars’ Summit (NDSS), a premiere
nationwide gathering that aims to promote scientific awareness, bridge career opportunities, and build
connections among DOST scholars. Thousands of brilliant students are added to the pool of DOST scholars every
year. Hence, in 2016, we transformed the DOST Scholars’ Summit into NDSS, in consonance with our goal of
creating a greater impact at a wider perspective. This year’s NDSS will be held with the theme “Dare to Venture”.
In line with this, we would like to formally invite the members of CSU - Alliance of DOST Scholars of Cagayan
State University - Carig Campus to attend NDSS 2018. The organizers would look forward to DOST scholars from
your university. This event will surely be a great help in finding the career track of the brightest pool of college
students all over the Philippines. Attached to this letter is the event profile containing the project description to
give you an idea of the overall conduct of the event.
