All’s well that ends well

Clasa a VII-a C

I was driving my car fast enough to get a fine, trembling and hoping for a miracle. I was
supposed to have the most important interview ever for Google. Everybody knows that you
cannot afford being for the final interview. I tried to keep calm but everybody was shouting and
all the main roads were blocked. After a while I managed to escape from those traffic jams and
speed to the city center. I was almost near the building, driving at full speed when I had a flat
tire. I was more than angry. I pulled over, stepped off the car, took my suitcase and started
running as fast as I could to the Google offices.

Finally I reached the building and took the elevator. I had only 20 minutes to the
interview. While I was thinking about my adventures, bad luck stroke again: the elevator
stopped.”This can’t happen to me” I said to myself. That moment I realised there was another
man behind me starting to sweat. Suddenly he felt sick and almost fainted. I was shocked: no
elevator, no pills, no job. He told me he had diabetes and he needed something sweet. Luckily I
had some candies in my pocket. When I am nervous I always take a candy. Not to mention that I
have a sweet tooth. I gave the man some candies and after a while he was better.

All of a sudden the elevator started. We were both going to the same floor. I accompanied
the man to his office and to my surprise he was the manager of the company. You can imagine
what followed!

Today I am a person who enjoys working for Google. But most important I can proudly
say that I don’t have a boss but a friend!
