It was Daniel’s birthday, but he was really sad. He could not celebrate his special day with his
family. They lived in rural area, so it was far away from his dormitory.

At the time, he checked his phone, but nobody called or texted him. He also checked his social
media, but nobody send him a direct message. He thought that his friends and his family had
forgotten his birthday. “No one cares about me!” he said. He decided to stay at his dormitory and
watch some movies.

Suddenly, someone knocked his door and called his name. When he opened the door, his friends
and his family shouted “Surprise, Happy Birthday”. They sang the birthday song for him. They
brought a beautiful cake with a lot of candles. His friends gave all of the food and drinks that they
prepared for him. “Wow, you bring a lot of food and drinks. There are a lot of pizzas, some choc
chips, some tiramisu cakes, some coke, and a lot of candies.

“I’m glad that all of you still remember my special day. This is unforgettable moment that I’ve ever
had in my life. Thank you everybody.” he said. After the party, he carried all of his presents from
them and then took a picture to capture the beautiful moment.
