    Low power and high noise immunity CMOS technology is used.

    Description: Appliance selection systems can be of great utility where not all among a
    number of appliances are to be use at a time. A service model can be developed where
    users can switch on or off devices remotely. This project aims at making a device to
    control four appliances using a remote with buttons corresponding to each appliance.
    The device is powered through dc batteries and the appliances are powered through ac
    supply. Also the circuit is kept as economical as possible to make it attractive for users
    The circuit uses an IR transmitter which transmits a signal containing the information of
    the key pressed from the keypad which contains four keys. The information is encoded
    by an encoder connected between the transmitter and the keypad. The IR receiver
    receives the signal and sends it to a decoder connected to it which has the appropriate
    circuitry to decode the incoming information to determine which key was pressed. The
    corresponding device is selected to be switched on or off.

    • Project: “Microcontroller Based Temperature Controlled Fan ”

    Description: Microcontroller Based Temperature Controlled Fan can be of great


    utility where we want to control the speed of the fan according to the temperature
    automatically. A program is embedded in the microcontroller ATMEGA-32 which is
    connected to the temperature sensor LM35, connected to a fan, which senses the
    temperature and the speed of fan is control by the microcontroller.
