Accomplishments
AP Chemistry teacher 2014- ongoing
All students that take my AP class have received an A or the highest grade in college chemistry in
prestige schools like Texas A&M, College Station.
All students that take my AP class have been prepared for a rigorous college lab and even send
me photos of labs that they have completed that are similar or cover the same methods.
Organized a parent group at a school who had gone 13 years without any prior parent
involvement.
Organized parents to offer monthly coffee and Mexican pastries for all faculty and staff.
Organized parents to offer a yearly Valentine’s Day treats distribution for all faculty and staff on
Valentine’s Day.
Organized parents to offer a yearly faculty luncheon provided by the parents at the end of May.
Organized parents to offer sack lunches to students that stay for mandatory after school STAAR
tutoring.
Gained valuable skills necessary to reach out to the community of parents and inspire them to
serve the school, which is invaluable as an administrator.
Conducted Action Research (AR): Surveyed the current educator perception of bilingual education at
secondary schools with predominantly Hispanic or Latino minority students. (2018)
Monitor the progress of students that stay after school in order to recover credit or receive
original credit by unlocking assignments and helping students submit assignments.
Keep communication with counselors about students that are behind or have not logged in.
Was part of the planning for Spring Branch Independent School District CTE (2018).
Helped students plan for and make up ALA hours in order to receive credit (2018).
Helped the 12th grade principal, Mrs. Rogers, with some disciplinary issues with regards to
meeting with students to discuss behavior and writing referrals for after school detention
(2019).
