Dear Parents,

We believe every child has inherent talent which needs an avenue to be showcased. School Annual day is the
perfect platform for the same. Auditions for Classes 1 to 5 for the same will be held in the month of
September & October 2017. If you would like your ward to participate, kindly fill the consent form given
below and send it to the class teacher on or before September 21, 2017

Please note:
1. The students can audition in any one area of their choice.
2. For the audition, depending on area chosen, a student needs to perform a dance, sing a song,
play an instrument or speak on any topic of your choice.
3. The time limit for a student is 2 minutes.
4. For dance auditions, students must carry the music CD / flash on which their name and class
are written. Choice of dance can be classical, contemporary, western or folk.
5. If selected, the cost of the costumes and accessories will be borne by the student.
6. Auditions and selections will be adjudicated by concerned teachers and the decision
of the school in the selection of students and the allotment of the role is final.
7. A ‘zero’ period will be utilized for annual day preparations. The ‘zero’ period will be carved out for
auditions and rehearsals by reducing the duration of teaching periods by 5 minutes. Thus, the
academic time-table will be adhered to and the regular academic schedule of the students will not
be affected.
8. For participants:-New concepts will not be taught during the ‘zero’ period.
9. For non-participants:- The ‘zero’ period time will be utilized for revision.
