    The white man's arrival in the village of Abame led to suspicion and conflict, as a villager killed the man who looked suspicious. In response, the white men from the Whitman clan decided to eradicate the village in retaliation. Later, a group of missionaries came to the village of Umuofia seeking land to build a church. The villagers gave them land in the evil forest hoping they would die there, but the missionaries survived and Christianity began to spread among the people, including outcasts and those disturbed by past tragedies.

    The influence of white men

    The white man with a iron horse arrived at
    the village which called “Abame” and
    unfortunately, a man was killed by the
    villager because he look suspicious.

    The Whitman clan realise that the man who
    came to Abame didn’t come back. Therefore,
    they decide to eradicate the village.

    A group of missionaries go to Umuofia


    and attempt to spread the gospel to the
    villagers and ask for the land. 3

    4 They give an area of the evil forest for them to


    build church because they hope the group of
    white men will die. Lastly, they still alive.

    Nwoye is converting to Christian because the


    death of Ikemefuna and the sound of twin baby
    cry. Christianity spread out and outcasts join
    Christianity because they safe twin.
