You are required to work individually. The project must me a real life problem solving situation or in
other words, it must be done in a real life business.

Choose a company in which you have some interest. Find the information on recruitment, selection
and training. Based on the information:

The report of the assignment must cover:

a) Profile of the company


b) Objective of assignment
c) Implementation or the practices by the company
 Discuss how the company plans for recruiting and selection.
 Identify who is responsible for the recruitment and selection process.
 Identify relevant hiring criteria of the company.
 Identify the different sources of recruits. (Educational institutions, present employee…..)
 Explain the selection procedures.
 Determine specific training given.

However the assignment is up to the creativity of the individual. You are given freedom to decide.
