Finding Relief from Physical Pain: A Guided

Tapping Meditation
Welcome to the day 2 of the Tapping World Summit. This is Jessica Ortner and today’s
short tapping meditation was created to help you find relief from physical pain. It’s
always ideal to tap while using your own specific language but this meditation can be a
really powerful guide.

We will begin by giving a voice to how you might be feeling, expressing that physical
pain and then we’ll move on to the positive.

Begin by picking a specific pain or a stiffness in your body. You can take a moment right
now to move your shoulders, move around in your chair to see where you might feel
pain or feel the stiffness. If that pain or stiffness represented an emotion, what emotion
would that be? Take note of it and then measure that emotion on a scale of 1-10.

And let’s begin by taking a few deep breathes to feel grounded and centered in our
body.

So inhale through your nose, and exhale through your mouth.

Inhale and exhale

Inhale and exhale

We are going to begin with the setup statement. Tap on the karate chop point and repeat
after me.

Even though I have this pain in my body, I deeply and completely love and accept
myself.

Even though I have this pain in my body, I deeply and completely love and accept
myself.

One last time, even though I have this pain in my body, I deeply and completely love and
accept myself.

Now take a deep breath in.

And as you exhale place both hands over your heart. And from this place give yourself a
little message. What do you need to say, do, or simply remember to support yourself and
your body at an even deeper level?

And when you’re ready open your eyes and notice your body, notice if the pain has
shifted at all, notice how your body feels. You can measure the intensity again and
continue tapping if it feels right to you.

Again, this is Jessica Ortner, and from everyone here at The Tapping World Summit we
wish you the very best.
