Copy Checking Criteria

Assigned teacher is supposed to check (5 Note books) from every section against respective grade
(mentioning clearly the names of learners on the submitted reports).Follow the requisites given
below:

Maintain the copy checking record stating date and topic as priority.

1. Index should be properly and neatly written in the given format ( Sr No / Date / Remarks/
Parent’s Signature).
2. Teacher’s signature and remarks to be filled immediately after correction.
3. Spelling error to be underlined and word “sp ‘should be written on the top of the word and
written corrected.
4. Ensuring the completion of (steps-against methodology) for solutions in mathematics
specifically.
5. Paste paper showing detail of assignments done. Like “Serial, Date, Assignment No,
signature” on the inner side of title page.
6. Test record of the relevant subject, (stating clearly Date, Test No, Marks, signature) to be
maintained and pasted in the subject notebooks.
7. Maximum within three days of the date of assignment, the work must be checked by the
Subject teacher.
8. No graffiti or crossing is allowed/ write encouraging remarks in neat and approved pattern.
9. All related pictures, diagrams, graphs, tables, maps must be drawn by the students (purpose
of interleaf copy must be achieved).
10. Date for assignment must be written on top line within margin at extreme left for English and
extreme right for Urdu.
11. 19. Pattern of date would be day-month-year e.g. 07-07-12.
12. 20. Top line will show only Unit No___Topic___Page___. “topic”- written in the center
followed with the subtopic or subheading.
13. For execution of reinforcement plan the task will be entitled as “REVISION TEST along with
the number.
14. The margin should only be at one side of the page, for English on left side and for Urdu on
right side (mostly these are printed).
15. . At the end of the question there should be line to separate that question.
16. Assignments and home work should be checked by the relevant subject teacher with
extreme care.
17. Corrections can be of spelling, writing, page layout, correct answer etc.
18. Before checking the next lesson the previous one must be reviewed. Make sure that
corrections have been made as suggested by the teachers.
19. No personal or derogatory remarks to be made on the copy.
20. Correction must be made in red ink.
21. Sentence with grammar mistakes should be underlined and word “gr” should be written on
top of the word.
22. Wrong answer should be indicated with the X at the answer.
23. Pictures, diagrams, graphs, maps etc should be properly labeled.
24. Caption should be mentioned if required, for maps, free hand sketching must be taught.
25. Follow –Up against incomplete and missing work to be taken and checked consciously.
