1) Relate what was discussed in class or the text to the screening.

● Persepolis was a beautifully animated film with much-hidden meaning. It displayed many different
viewings of the film because it was animated. Though I believe the film perceived everything
there was meant to be perceived. Since it was an animated film, there weren’t different aspects to
analyze when evaluating this film.

2) Find a related article and summarize the content.

● According to the guradian.com, this film is considered an “A humorous and haunting memoir of a
young girl in Iran by Marjane Satrapi.” This article then generous about summarizing the general
points within the entire film. This film perfectly related to the article applied.

3) Apply the article to the film screened in class.

● This article redirected to one of my main points because it kept money in the picture and what
could be succeeded with money. in the end, everyone is just a digital character, us as actors get
it, I want to inform my audience to let them know when it compares to many cartoons that we
view today, though of course, it is ahead of its time.

4) Write a critical analysis of the film, including your personal opinion, formed as a result of the screening,
class discussions, text material, and the article.

● I enjoy this film and I also enjoyed it as an animated film. It gave a man a chance to understand
and improve oneself as an individual and develop oneself as a character within the film. This film
was a beautiful artwork of art that held much meaning to it and interpreted actually the reality for
people in some countries.
