1. Why AXA?

a. I want to work for AXA because AXA is leading player in Insurance industry, with a
huge global presence and with a great mission “Empower people to live better lives”.
Having worked for various Global companies I think I fit at AXA culturally as well. This
is a company I have been looking for, a place where my background, experience, and
skills can be put to use”
1. Why this role?
a. I find this role very challenging and it interests me a lot. I think I’ve core skill sets
required by this role. I’ve the exposure of both product and project management
and I think I can handle all kinds of challenges at this role.
2. Why Insurance?
a. Personally, I think Insurance is one of the successful business model. I have worked
for an Insurance Client named AIG and loved my role there. I had to deal with huge
numbers, stats, and due to the presence of various stakeholders, Insurance projects
become more interesting.
3. Tell us about your experience in project management? Tell me about your projects?
a. I have worked for a Consulting company TCS and HCL, Both the companies are
leading player in Consulting industry and have various competitive projects. While at
TCS, I worked for an Insurance project and our client was AIG. My main role was to
communicate with key stakeholders, and report to PPM’s and the get the project
done on time. And while HCL I worked for a client named Konica Minolta. I worked
there as a Project Co-coordinator and my main was to monitor the progress of the
project and key deliverables, communicate with key stakeholders, and report to
PPM’s and the get the project done. I also had to negotiate with the client for project
scope and deliverables timings.
4. What is your career plan?
a. I am very ambitious and constantly looking for challenges, I believe in continuous
learning and never give up. I always try to learn new things. My short-term plan is to
complete my MBA and work for a company that’s good at Project management such
as yours. Right now, I am preparing for CAPM and in the long-term I’m looking to get
PMP and take more challenging leadership roles.
5. What do you want to accomplish at AXA?
a. I want to do my best for AXA and I want to enhance my current Project management
skills and in the long run, I’d like to take more challenging roles at AXA.
6. What are your weaknesses?
a. I think the biggest weakness I’ve too detailed oriented. I look things till the very end.
I’m to get rid of this weakness by looking at the big picture and if necessary dig
deeper.
7. What are your strengths?
a. My strengths include my Product & Project management skills. I’m also very good at
leading. Apart from these I’m very good at risk management skills. I can anticipate
risk from various perspectives. For e.g. We recently become marketing partner with
LINE, and my risk management skills contributed a lot to get that.
8. How do you work within a team?
a. I’m a good team player. I know how to handle conflicts and manage team members. I
always to learn from each other so that we can understand each other better.
9. Tell me of a time when a team member had a conflict and how you solved it?
a. While at TCS, our client asked our team to implement a feature that can increased #
IPad users. Juts after hearing that request, one of our team started complaining and
he told me we can’t do that. He believed it was impossible to implement due to some
restrictions. I told let’s be proactive and let’s see what we can do. After going back, I
tried a make process flow diagram and came up with a prototype. After looking at that
the team members started believing and in the end, we implemented that feature
successfully.
10. Leadership examples
a. Once one of our engineer’s in the team was having a difficulty in implementing a
feature. Frist, I asked him to try and try. But in the end, he couldn’t implement it by
 himself. So, after that I set up a brainstorming session, and he was able to
implement it after that.
11. What would you do if your boss asked you to do something that you didn’t believe in?
a. Well I’m an open minded. I think we can achieved anything if done properly and with
persistence. If I didn’t believe in something, first I would get lots of details from my
boss, then I try to figure out how can we do it? Then I’d try to figure out the costs and
benefits of doing that.
12. What are your hobbies?
a. My hobbies are reading books, Playing Chess and listening to Music.
b. Sometimes I try to learn new things such as new languages etc.
