THE WEAPON OF THE BLOOD

Satan’s primary weapon against us is accusation. Using guilt and
condemning thoughts, he tries to control and ultimately defeat mankind.
And we are guilty. He knows it and knows that we know it. He, therefore,
does everything he can to “rub” it in. If, however, we understand that the
blood has paid the price for
our sin and has thereby set
us free, we need no longer
listen to accusations (true
and false) that tear us apart
inside. We often fail to
understand how God has
provided victory for us over
Satan through Jesus’ blood.
When Satan’s demons come
against us, we must recognize that the blood of Jesus has satisfied all the
charges against us: 1) The blood unties us in fellowship with the Father; 2)
the blood gives us power to defeat the forces of darkness; and 3) the blood
gives us power over our own sinful nature.

The blood has established an unassailable bond with a sovereign God that
prevents Satan from separating the embattled Christian from God’s eternal
and complete resources. 2 Cor. 10:3-5, (See also, 1 Pet. 1:18, 19 and 1 Cor.
10:16).

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the

flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for
pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into
captivity to the obedience of Christ,

1 Peter 1:18-19
18 knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver

or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your

fathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without
blemish and without spot.

1 Corinthians 10:16
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of
Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of
Christ?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

God’s Blood never lose its power, we must stand firm on the Word of God
and not waver, for Satan will try you at your best.
