Earthquake, one of the world’s notorious, disastrous violent and unpredicted natural phenomena often causes
great damages on places.

Last 2017, our school experienced a nerve breaking 6.8 magnitude quake.

One of the preparations made by our school is to conduct a drill that helps us to emotionally, physically and
mentally prepare if such phenomenon happens.

Last November 5, 2018, at 2:00- 3:00 p.m. Our school conducted an orientation headed by Fe Lecel B. mero on
what to do BEFORE, DURING, and AFTER an earthquakes. Picture and flyers were distributed to the teachers and
pupils to arouse their attention.

After the orientation, we conducted the drill, as the siren rung, the pupils made the classroom the DOCK,
COVER, and HOLD, and they covered their head, hid under sturdy desk / table. Minute later, the pupils choose the
fastest and safest way out of the classroom. They got out calmly and orderly manner and move to an open and safe area
of the school.

It is better for us to be prepared.
