LEARNING OUTLINES:
Pre Lesson Pupils are reintroduced the word ‘veterinarian’ and asked about the definition.
1. Pupils refer to Student’s book page 18 with the audio (Track 27). Questions from
Teacher’s Book page 36 are asked to check comprehension.
2. ‘A guide to dictionary’ slides are shown to guide pupils to look for words in their
Lesson dictionary.
Development 3. A trial Dictionary Hunt was conducted to familiarise pupils.
4. Pupils conduct the Dictionary Hunt using page 11 in Year 3 Supplementary
Worksheet Module.

Post Lesson Pupils share their findings with the class.
