The teacher will recall about the different classification of tools used in PC hardware
servicing.
5. Motivation
Part 1. The teacher will present a video clip about the difference of hazard from risk.
Part 2. The teacher will present pictures related to the different types of hazards that could be
found in a workplace.
B. ANALYSIS
Part 1. Based from the video, what is the main difference between hazard and risk? Can you
cite other examples?
Part 2. What do you see on the picture?
Is there any possibility that it could hurt you or someone else?
What type of hazard is this?
C. APPLICATION
The teacher will divide the class into 4. Each group will be given picture of a workplace.
Their task is to spot the hazard in the picture given, assess the risk and identify its type.
D.ABSTRACTION
2. What are the types of hazard that can be encountered by computer technicians?
Each group will be given a picture of another workplace. The students will spot the hazards,
assess the risk and suggest changes that should be made to eliminate the hazards.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Go to the computer laboratory of the school. List down the possible hazards in the lab,
assess the risk and suggest changes/modifications that should be made to prevent accident.
