Responsible to: The Duty Engineer & ultimately responsible to Maintenance Manager. Responsible for: 1.Accomplishment of production, maintenance / tasks as assigned. 2. Report any abnormal observation during work in progress to duty engineer. 3. Ensure ground support, equipment and maintenance premises are maintained to satisfactory standards and deficiency are duly reported to duty engineer. 4. Under take special tasks and projects as assigned by the duty engineer. 5. Ensure coverage of the ramp area is adequate for maintenance or operational requirements including coverage for towing, marshalling catering etc. 6. Ensuring the inter shift register is entered properly so that all relevant information of their assigned scope of work is transferred to next shift smoothly. 7. Ensure all working ramp equipment and vehicles in use are safe & serviceable. 8. Monitor ground support equipment maintenance record and report formally to duty engineer. 9. Ensure report of all unserviceable ground support equipment & repair needs are briefed to duty engineer in timely manner. 10. Ensure all flight departure & arrival are attended and the aircraft passenger cabin interior is cleaned promptly for the next flight. 11. Liaises with Nepal Oil Corporation for fuel and refuel under the direction of the Duty Engineer. 12.Maintain cleanliness of Maintenance area and surroundings. Ensure the security of the tool house during their duty period. Freely forward any kind of safety related issues / hazards observed to Certifying Engineers or Duty Engineer without prejudice or bias and feel free to contribute their ideas and suggestions to develop and improve safety performance in the organization. 1.4.7 Authorized Certifying Engineers He / She is directly responsible to Duty Engineer. Responsible for: NCAR Part 145 A.45(c), 145 A.60, 145 A 70(a) Control & assign duties to technicians / staff working under him. Maintenance and inspection tasks accomplishment delegated by Duty Engineer in efficient manner. Adhered to the quality standard & ensure workforce under him to follow. Report significant defects observed / noticed to quality assurance, Base / Line & workshop manager as appropriate. Record such defect with categorization (IML allowed deferrable / MEL allowed deferrable / QA allowed deferrable etc) in accordance with applicable reference documents / records. Ensure support equipment & tools within his charge are maintained to satisfactory safety standards and discrepancies are duly reported to Maintenance / Base / Line & workshop manager in writing through form / designated register as appropriate. Ensure Company requirement relevant to aircraft inspection and production documentation are duly complied with. Exercise his license / approval within the scope approved by Quality Manager and pay attention to limitations of authorization. Maintain acceptable airworthiness, safety and performance standards in his delegated areas of responsibility. Undertake special tasks and project as assigned by Duty Engineer, Maintenance Manager or CAMO Manager. Prepare recommendation to amend Company Procedures and Publications as instructed by Maintenance Manager. Ensure that the Contracted Customer Procedures are complied with whenever contracted work for customer is assigned. Observe & raise issues pertinent to human factor & discuss in review meetings. Freely forward any kind of safety related issues / hazards observed to Duty Engineer without prejudice or bias and feel free to contribute their ideas and suggestions to develop and improve safety performance in the organization. Any additional responsibilities as assigned by Base / Line & workshop manager (Maintenance Manager). 1.4.6 Stores Personnel He/She is directly responsible to the CAMO Manager Following are his responsibilities in general. Responsibility for: Receive goods and materials from different sources. Ensure the first stage inspections of goods received are in conformity with details specified in accompanying documentation, Company Purchase Orders & packing condition. Ensure only parts with Approved Certificates and release Notes including purchase order & invoice are submitted to parts inspector. Ensure that parts are not entered into bonded stores without inspection by Material Inspector. Ensures that any component / parts / material without proper documentation and damaged/suspected parts are placed in quarantine. Ensure that the parts/materials entering the store are assigned with batch number and the cardex including computer is updated.gr Keep discrepancy register/tools issue register/batch register & update them regularly. Identify, control, segregate and maintain all stock (tools, materials, parts) in accordance with the store procedure. Ensure, that only the parts & component intended for direct aircraft use are allowed in bonded store. Preserve all articles or parts, in store through regular inspection. Ensure that the all components / parts / materials dispatched to aircraft maintenance are accompanied with proper tag with part number, nomenclature, serial number, status (New, Repaired, Overhauled, Serviceable, Unserviceable, Scrap, etc.) and quantity and other necessary information (Certificates etc.). Maintain required documentation and certification on all parts/materials thereby providing complete traceability throughout procurement, receiving, inspection and release/dispatch to maintenance process and returned without use. Maintains an accurate and updated computerized database. Monitor the inventory on regular basis & update Maintenance Manager & CAMO Manager on store status and submit report to CAMO manager including consumption report. Report all damage discovered damaged or suspected bogus parts to the CAMO Manager. Distribute received miscellaneous technical information or articles to all pertinent departments/sections. Plan & co-ordinate activities with the Maintenance Planning & Material purchase regarding schedule maintenance activities. 1.3.0 General This procedure defines the updating, retention and access of the aircraft, engine and component continuing airworthiness records. Simrik Airlines record system is a combination of paper records storage and retrieval as well as the computer data storage and information retrieval. The Continuing Airworthiness Records storage and retention is the responsibility of technical record personnel under the supervision of CA Manager. Aircraft flight hours, maintenance checks, component fitment, component / engine, modifications, airworthiness directives compliance etc. shall be maintained on Simrik Airlines’ in-house computerized system. 1.3.1 Hours, Cycle & Calendar date Recording Continuing Airworthiness records, including hours and cycles recording for Simrik Airlines aircraft are the responsibility of Simrik Airlines. Continuing Airworthiness records includes the following: a) Log Books for Airframe (s), Engine(s) and Propeller(s) b) Status of Airworthiness Directive/Airworthiness Notice compliance records c) Status of modification and repairs d) Certificate of Release to Service e) Status of compliance with maintenance program f) Status of service life limited components g) Inspection records (Work-packs). h) Sector record pages i) Overhaul records j) Weight / Mass and balance records. k) List of Deferred maintenance
