DESCRIPTION

MMS-Falcon is a compact, high-performance condition monitoring and analysis system. This system
is composed by several acquisition and communication modules allowing to build a distributed archi-
tecture and offers a cost effective and high scalable solution.

The MMS-412 is a key element of MMS-Falcon system and is designed to perform on-line continu-
ous monitoring and protection of critical rotating machinery in a wide range of applications.
MMS-412 is a robust, compact and self-contained dual channel processing module. This module is
designed to perform the absolute bearing and relative shaft vibration, roller bearing and endwinding
monitoring. One channel for phase reference is also available for harmonic extraction and rotation
speed calculation. The module can be easily interfaced to the plant automation system using ana-
logue outputs both current loop 4..20mA and digital output. Additionally, the system is providing
measured values and status over serial fieldbus interface Modbus RTU.
