Kinds and Classification
Auxiliary services in the context of guidance are
the services that the guidance office offers
aside from the basic tests and counseling such
as seminars, talks, outreach, workshops, and
other kinds of therapy.

AUXILIARY PERSONNEL

Psychologist
▪ Clinical/Counseling Psychologist- in charge of
cases of persistent behavioral patterns, learning
disabilities, trauma and victimization
▪ Family Counselor/Psychologist- if there are
persistent problems that arise from family issues
▪ School/ Developmental Psychologist- help
diagnose the developmental and educational 5

needs of client
Psychiatrist- handles those with emotional
disturbance or clinical problems

Social Worker- visit homes, talk to family


members, and look for ways to help the child
given the home situation
