Activity Title: Health Teaching: Kidney Disease

Background:
June is the national kidney month. In celebration of the kidney month, the nursing
students will have a health teaching session about the function, diseases and treatment about the
kidney. This is an opportunity to help to spread awareness about how to take care of our kidneys
in order to prevent kidney diseases.
Objective/s:
1. Spread awareness of the national kidney month
2. Educate and enhance the knowledge of the people in the community all about the kidney
and its diseases & treatments
3. Promote healthy lifestyle, proper diet and exercise in order to take care of the kidney
