CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY

A. Background
Research Method is an early stage that must be done researcher well done
for the purpose of writing thesis and thesis. Programs involve a number of
components that work together in a process to achieve a goal. Teachers / lecturers,
the object under study and the subject matter is a component that is always there in
a Research Method Action Class. In the implementation of Classroom Action
Research a researcher must define the problem and focus of the research. Problems
can be found from the results of field observations or from the mass media. After
the researcher determines the focus of the problem then he must compose a frame
of thinking that will work in preparing the framework of the hypothesis. A series of
steps that must be skipped in classroom action research will bring about a fruitful
outcome to the performance of educators, schools / colleges and education.

B. Aim/Purpose

The Critical Book Report have aim/purpose, that is :

- Reviewing a material from a book

- Find and understand the content of the material

- Able to think critically in searching for information in material that want to be

in criticism

- Comparing the two content of the material in the book

C. The Problem

1. Is the content of both books the same?

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each material in the book?
CHAPTER II

DISCUSSION

A. The Content of The Book

BOOK A

In book 1, the first page of the material is presented about the material to be
discussed in the chapter. The introduction of the material is presented on the
chapter's starting page.
In this book, the definition of each material discussed is written by the
author. Describes the properties of function limits at one point, left and right limits,
absolute limit of function, limit of trigonimetric functions, and also discusses
continuity of functions at one point and continuous left and right.
In this material also, the author gives small notes to help the reader. In
addition, the author also provides some examples of solutions to the problems
where after the example of problem solving, the author also provides questions that
will be answered readers. It is very good, because it is able to hone someone's
ability in solving problems.

BOOK B

In this material, we will learn about functional limi, a certain number, limit
sequence, and continuity of function.

In this book there is a records of the small notes presented by the author,
where is the record is a definition of material discussed. Any given examples easy
to understand.

In this material also described the properties of numbers. But unfortunately,

not too many examples given by the author.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

From my research results based on definition, advantages, disadvantages,

and completeness of both book, I draw the conclusion that I can better understand
the Book B more than Book A.

The reason I say that is the language used in the book is easy to understand.
In addition, there are graphs that make it easy for me to better understand what is
the continutiy function.

My advice in this book is material unilateral should be exposed by the

author. Because it can make it easier for me to study the test material
