    Create publication quality figures (300dpi) in MSOffice

    PDFCreator (which works beautifully on x64 systems) has a function wherein you can

    choose to save files as .tif rather than .pdf. If you go to 'Options' after printing

    something, highlight the 'Save' menu and change the 'Standard Save Format' to TIFF.

    Once set, it should remain as a TIFF output unless changed back manually.
