A value of the source is that the author is a local, so he will understand the feelings of that
time better. Another Value of the Content is that this is a memoir, so the content will facts
that have been influenced by the author's view and emotions. Limitations of the content are
that the content might not be 100% facts and trustable because it's what the author
remembers, it may not be entirely right. Limitations of the source also being the origin of the
author, the author's emotions and experience can be influenced by what he is surrounded by
when he's a teenager

Third Question:
A similarity in both source links to Japan's use of westerns methods. Source C mentioned that
they need to continue studying and making use of the western method and source D
mentioned how Japan learned to follow western's footstep. Both sources mentioned how
Japan is not strong enough and what came after that. Source C talked about how they need to
have new warships and changing the entire military system, source D mentioned how Japan
was weak, so the Triple Intervention dominates Japan. Also, both sources use similar
language, source C uses "meddle" to describe the west and source D use language like
“would never bring”. The difference between source C and source D is their focus on the
situation. Source C focuses on how Japan needs to be stronger by building its army and its
weapons, source D focuses on how the Westerns don’t play by the rules and its method
doesn’t work. Another difference is the time of publishing, source C published in 1895 and
source D published in 1993, source C and source D has 100 years of the time difference.
Source C suggest how Japan can improve and achieve a stronger by building its army, it
suggests through a positive manner; Source D suggest how Japan and the west are not equal
and how hard it is to achieve equality, it suggests this idea through a negative manner.
