QUEZON II DISTRICT

ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
C.Y 2018

If you want something you’ve never had, then you’ve got to do something
you’ve never done.

As the agency embarks on the advancement of Filipino in education

through the K to 12 program. Let me showcase the accomplishment and targets of
Quezon II District in terms of Profile, Performance Indicators and Status of Projects.

Talking about District Profile, Quezon II district has record a total of 4,507
elementary pupils during the SY 2017-2018. Out of the total number of enrollees,
709 are preschoolers, of which 341 girls and 368 are boys. The district also has
tallied a total of 714 Grade 1 pupils with 379 boys and 335 girls, 595 Grade 2
learners with 313 boys and 282 girls, 599 Grade 3 schoolchildren with 337 boys and
362 girls, 663 Grade 4 pupils with 349 boys and 314 girls, 569 Grade 5 learners with
292 boys and 277 girls, and 647 Grade 6 students with 321 boys and 326 girls. For
SPED 6 male and 5 female with the total of 11 pupils.

On the other hand, the Division Office of Bukidnon has assigned 155 teaching
and 11 non-teaching personnel to occupy different positions within Quezon II
district. These government workers are distributed based on the actual needs of every
school per assessment and thorough evaluation conducted by the Division Office.
To verify the equation, Quezon II district has recorded an average of 1
classroom to 38.37 pupils in terms of Students to Teachers and Students to
Classroom respectively.
It has also documented a 1 is to 1 ratio of Student to LM’s from Grades 2 to
5, and 1 learning material per 4 pupils in Grade 6.

For the performance Indicator–97.56% percent out of the 4,507 registered

learners have been promoted to the next year level. The data clearly shows that more
than 90 % percent of the total population have performed well in school as
projected earlier before the beginning of classes. Strategies such as home visitation,
info drive and adopt-pupil scheme have helped every school to prosper in this area.

But looking at the figure, Quezon II district has to double its efforts in
bringing those who are retained and those who are not promoted for this school go
back to the school next year and eventually will pass subject.

However, despite our efforts to eliminate dropout, we have hardly make it to

eradicate totally the dropping out of learners from the school. As of April 07, 2017,
63 pupils or 0. 78% percent left school due to the following reasons such as family
problem, lack of allowance, distance and peace and order.

For the Performance Indicator- Governance , most of the schools have

reached the Level 2 category based on the assessment made by the SBM validators
in the district, division and region. The scores are attestations that the people in
Quezon II district are aiming not only for the quality of instruction but also for an
excellent service leading to notable accomplishments.

In terms of the Literacy and Numeracy Level, Quezon II district has noted an
85 percent literacy rate for SY 2017-2018. Considering the important role of stake
holders to schools, relationship and bond among the parents, teachers, barangay and
municipal officials and personnel, NGOs, religious organization and business-
orientated individuals are established and strengthened through meetings,
gatherings and partnerships. They are tapped to extend services or to donate
materials needed during the implementation of Brigada Ekewala and National
Maintenance Week to set the tone of every school prior to the start of classes as
well as to other school activities that their presence are highly at stake.

Alternative LEARNING System

The Alternative Learning System has contributed much in the increase of
literacy rate of the community.
As of this time, our barangays have organized their respective classes on the
literacy – cum livelihood. This is done to provide education to one of the
underprivileged groups which is the out of school youth and adults in our
communities
4.1 A & E – passing rate is 88 % 58 2017 graduates in secondary and 80% 8
2017 graduates in the elementary.
4.2 Basic computer literacy class graduate is 100%.
4.3 Basic literacy program completion rate is 95%.

With regards to the Health and Nutrition Status of the elementary school
children in Quezon II district, 133 out of 4,507 or 4.01 percent are severely
wasted, 39 are overweight and 461 are wasted.

Though 89 percent of the total population in the elementary level are

classified as normal, there is still a necessary for the whole Quezon II district
personnel to collaborate and act against abnormalities in the health and nutritional
status of the young learners . Accordingly, the number of pupils who have not met
the desired target must be brought to the normal or to the acceptable level.
Our health services successfully conducted
1. School Based Feeding Program
2. National deworming
3. National Immunizations
4. World AIDS day
5. Oplan Kalusugan sa DepEd
Feeding centers and/or home economics building were also constructed.
Our gratitude to the Local School Board of the LGU of this municipality for
sparing some amount for the medicines and supplies utilized to treat minor and
common illnesses of the school children in the respective areas.

I challenge the school heads to encourage teachers under their command to

pursue masters and doctorate’s degrees for personnel consumption and for
promotion later on.

undertaking. So as we continue our journey towards providing quality education to
our school children, we have to do something we’ve never done before. Whatever it
is, may it be in a form of individual service or unwarranted dedication to work, let
us do it for the greater glory of God.
