Format Nos. 1 and 2 fReporting formats on Paid News cases).

In continuation of this office Memo cited, all the Collectors & District Election
Officers in the State of Telangana and the Commissioner, GHMC & District Election Officer,
Hyderabad District are requested to furnish the information on Paid News cases in
Format No. - 1 (copy enclosed) (Reporting format of weekly report information on Paid News
casesJ through the Spreadsheet link [designed PC wise) provided below to be submitted on the
last day of every week during the period of General Elections to the Lok Sabha - 201,9, i.e., on;

(i) 3Oth March, 2019 (Saturday) [l.tweekly report);

(ii) 6th April, 2019(Saturday) [2na weekly report); and
[iii) 11th April, 2019 (Thursday) (third and final weekly report).

2. The information of Paid News cases in Format No.-Z, (Final Report on Paid News
cases) to be submitted immediately after the completion of election i.e., on Ll-04-20t9
Thursday by 06.00 P.M. so as to consolidate the same and send to the Commission on the
same day as per the guidelines of the Commission communicated in this regard. For detailed
instructions and guidelines "Compendium of Instructions on Media Related Matters, January,
201-7" and "Compendium of Instructions on Election Expenditure Monitoring,2079" may be
referred to. They are, further informed that the Commission desired that the information on
the Paid News cases mentioned in Format No. 2 (copy enclosed) shall be submitted along
with necessary supportive documents related to the cases mentioned below and physical
copies of the same shall be sent through Special Messenger to the office.

(i) Constrtution of district MCMC.

(ii) Names of the Members who participated in the MCMC.
(iii) Proceedings / Minutes of the Meetings of the MCMC with due reasons
as to how the news considered as Paid News.
(iv) News reports / advertisements / clipping / cutting of newspaper
along with its Hindi / English transcript and the postal address of the
newspaper f Magazine etc.
