on something for a bit, if you cant hit the zone, work on something else and come
back to it (you catch mistakes and helps keep things fresh)</p><p>4) Composition
and flow will always trump line-weight, lines can be worked on and improved
fluidly, but if composition and flow aren&rsquo;t given due attention the piece
will be boring and non-interesting (idea vs technique) </p><p>5) If you want
popular OCs, draw them with mainstream well-known characters (I have yet to see a
photobomb series, which would be awesome)</p><p>6) Sketch fast and loose, it will
help you zone in, and helps the creative process, sketching slowly encourages you
to get too detailed too quickly</p><p>7) Always keep in mind, you are never drawing
just lines, you are drawing reflected light over forms (which sounds awesome and
why line weight is so important) </p><p>8) Never put yourself or your art down,
everything comes with practice and time. You don&rsquo;t go to the gym and become
buff in an hour, its the same with technique and creativity. You have to feed your
brain/hands and work them out thoroughly to achieve your dreams. Have a goal in
mind and make a plan to get there.</p><p>9) Join a community and post regularly,
not only will you meet amazing people, but they will motivate you to keep at it,
give you feedback, and become a network to opportunities. Enjoy every minute of it,
and keep an open mind! (plus you get a chance to see process, and others works
