PATHFINDER ARCHETYPES (I MADE THESE)

Broom rider (Witch archetype)

The mental image of a witch riding a broomstick is a common one, yet most
witches will never actually SEE a flying broom in their life. Not so for the Broom
rider. These witches, either via desire or assumption, form a strong bond with a
broom which allows them to soar through the air. But their bond goes yet further
than this, as they learn a number of tricks and enchantments for their bonded
brooms, becoming decent magical warriors, able to defend themselves against the
world around them.

Diminished casting: A Broom rider has the spells per day and spells known of a
bard of their level. They are spontaneous casters. However, their spells are still
intelligence based, and they still draw their magic from the witch list. This replaces
spellcasting

Bonded Besom: A Broom rider does not have a familiar, as other witches do.
Instead, the Broom rider gains the bonded object of a wizard of their level. They
must choose a broom for this. A broom has the statistic of a quarterstaff, except
that the bristles deal 1d4 non-lethal slashing instead of 1d6 bludgeoning. A Broom
rider can enhance their bonded besom as a magical staff as if they had the proper
feats. This replaces familiar

Witch-warrior: A Broom rider’s witch levels provide 3/4ths BAB (As a bard)
rather than poor BAB.

Flying broom: As the witch rises in levels, her broom enables her to float, to drift,
and eventually; fly. At 1st level, the witch gains a +4 bonus to fly checks, and may
use feather fall (Self only) at will. At 3rd level, the witch may use the broom to cast
levitate (self only) at will. Finally, at 5th level, the witches dreams pay off, and she
takes to the skies; while astride her broom, she gains a fly speed 30ft (average).
While riding her broom, she makes fly checks instead of ride checks (but otherwise
uses the rules for staying on a mount). This replaces their 1st level hex.

Bewitched besom: As the witch gains magical power, some of it is siphoned off
into her broom. Her broom gains a +1 enhancement bonus to attack and damage at
2nd level. At 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 14th, and 18th, the witch’s broom gains further
enhancements. A witch’s besom cannot actually be granted a bonus higher than +5
pre-epic; instead, these bonuses can be applied towards other enchantments (such
as flaming, keen, etc.). Both sides of the besom are enchanted. A broom rider may
change the enchantments on her besom by spending 8 hours ritualistically picking
new twigs and binding them into new bristles for her broom.
