 Total Experience: 4 years in Telecommunication as Network Engineer on

WCDMA, LTE network and with a Good knowledge on 5G and GSM.

PROFFESIONAL SUMMARY: RF Planning and Optimization Engineer with 4 years of

experience in telecommunication industry (worked for idea in Lt supercom India
prvt & ltd and Radius Info source), And Currently with Ericsson Global India,
Bangalore

1.Experience in analyzing the KPI's (key performance indicators) traffic statistics

and monitoring the network for troubleshooting on daily basis

2.Experience in analyzing stats on cell & BSS levels such as call success rate
CSSR, handover success rate HSR, TCH blocking, SDCCH blocking, RF utilization,
RF loss rate etc.

3.Experience in performing optimization duties like: frequency hopping, power

ROLE: LTE RAN Engineer

Project Name: NBN Australia

Project Scope: NBN mean by National Broadband Network, and it Is an Australian

Government project which is top most network in Australia. In this project we are working
for minimum of 99dBm 6Mbps bit rate to every user. In this project we have various scopes

like Detailed design, Desktop design, RAT Design, Migration, and Acceptance. I am working
on RAT Design

Scope View: In this RAT Design I am planning to add additional frequencies with same
RRU’s and to same Sectors to offload Capacity of an existing sector and to increase the bit
rate

Main Tool: Mentum Planet (5.7 & 6.1), Site Handler, Google Earth, MS Excel with
existing formulae

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.In this scope main challenge is when we are adding frequency 2. we must
take care of neighbor sites and take care of existing users of current sites

2.Why because sometimes we are adding existing frequency (to another sector)
for one sector, that will cost to create a wedge layer which usually mean by
SINR degradation. and sometimes we are adding the same frequency to current
site which neighbor site having in the same direction

3.For RAT cells usually we are using 2 types power which is less than Current
cell, the powers are 2*10 and 2*5 Watts (43.01dBm and 40dBm)

4.In this project we have 2 types of Bandwidth, we usually called as B40 cells
and B42 cells

5.Based on MIMO we are using different power for B42 RAT cells i.e. 4*10 and
4*5 Watts 46.02dBm and 43.01dBM). But anyways the procedure is almost
same for both B40 and B42 cells

6.The main thing is RAT Design is an immediate solution to balance Load, they
will implement my Design immediately

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Development and maintenance of LTE - RRC, 3GPP Specs: 36.331 – Rel8 & Rel9

2.Design and documentation through Message Sequence Charts (MSCs), Process

Diagrams and API details

3.Development of software modules in a sophisticated FSM (finite state machine)

Implementation of ASN.1 Compiler in C++ for RRC-EUTRA-Definitions (Rel-9 and
onwards)

4Log analysis from the perspective of overall Protocol Stack (Layer 3, Layer 2 and PHY)

5.Protocol Stack - CPHY Integration; layer 3 (RRC) interaction with PHY

6.Testing of UE with ANITE CT and DT tools; log analysis and bugs resolution
Design and implementation of negative scenario module tests in Python

7.Release building in cross platform testing (Linux/Windows)

Initial Experience:

Organization: Lt Supercom India Private LTD for Idea Network

Role: RF&DT Engineer

Duration: From July 2015 – Jan 2017.

Project Scope: I am working for GSM, WCDMA and LTE project. The project
included performing site survey, call drops, site planning, nominal cell planning,
frequency planning, Cell Design Database (CDD) preparation, performance monitoring of
upcoming sites, daily KPI monitoring, guiding survey team, site verification, Acceptance
testing etc. I supervised a team of 5 performance engineers who provided
comprehensive RF support in terms of RF planning, optimization & performance

engineering. Apart from performing the above mentioned activities I also coordinated
with the clients to discuss various network related, quality and coverage and call drop
related issues. Also Supported as DT Engineer when needed

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Independently planned list of sites in Hyderabad

2. Planning of IBS (In building Solution) for major corporate houses like Taj
Hotel, Grand Hotel & Joy Alukas Jewelers etc.

3.Preparation of MapInfo& Google earth files for the planning & Optimization
purpose.

4.Physical survey & Validation of difficult sites and proposing solution for it.

5.Frequency (BCCH, TCH, HSN, MAIO) and neighbor planning for all six cities.

6.Antenna selection for the new and existing sites.

7.Pre& Post drive test of new on air sites and post processing of log files to
generate coverage & Quality plots. Neighbor list tuning.

8.Performed day to day analysis of N/W problems and performed trouble

shooting.

9.Planned TRX for the existing network and new sites.

10.Drive testing using, TEMS 15.1 and 17th Version and NEMO and XCAL

11.Prepared and updated the Hyderabad Site database on a regular basis.

12.Performed optimization on soft parameters for improvements on KPI.
