Scenario
One day, in an apartment that located at Pulau Moyo Street Number 24, Denpasar,
there are lived two sister and one brother with their parents. But on that day, their
parents are not at home because they have business affairs outside the city. Their
old sister, Ekayuni, just got back from college, and she brings some foods for her
younger sister and brother, Elvian and Wirawan, which she bought while on her
course. Arrived home, she gives those foods to her younger sister and brother,
whom immediately eat it with gusto. But when Ekayuni changes her clothes,
something is happening! Are you curious about its continuation?! Let’s check it
out!
Wirawan : “Do you feel hungry?”
Elvian : “Yes, little bit. But, I think I can still hold it.”
Wirawan : (checking the refrigerator.) “Ahh! There is empty. What can I
eat?”
Elvian : “If you hungry, you must go out and buy some food.”
Wirawan : “I’m so tired to go out. Can you buy some food for me?”
Elvian : “Of course, No! I am tired too. Soon sister is coming home too.
Be patient a little!”
Wirawan : “Fast get back, sister!” (Laying on the sofa.)

(15 minutes later.)

Ekayuni : “Helllooooo, guys. I bring something for you!”

Elvian : “Really? What is that?”
Wirawan : “I smell something delicious. Is that a food?”
Ekayuni : “Of course! I bought some of your favourite foods. Eat it, I want
to change my clothes first.”
Elvian : “Wow, there are so many food you bought.”
Wirawan : “The foods look so nice.”
Elvian : “Yeahh, we will get food party now!”
Wirawan : “Yuhuuu, let’s eat all of these food!”
Elvian : “Sister, can we eating first?”
Ekayuni : “Sure, enjoy it!”

(After Ekayuni changes her clothes, she come to join her sister and brother. She
thinks her sister and brother are enjoying the food, but what is going on not in
accordance from what she expected.)

Ekayuni : “Hey, are you enjoy the food I giv....” (shock)

Elvian and Wirawan : (get headache, vomit, stomachache, etc.)
Ekayuni : “What?!!! Whats happen?!”
Elvian : “My stomach feel sick.”
Wirawan : “The food tastes weird.” (vomitting to Ekayuni)
Ekayuni : “Ew, what is this?! Hold on! I will call someone for help!”
(panic)
(Because Ekayuni cannot take on problem by herself, so she decide to call 118 for
some help.)

Ns. Meita : “Hello, good evening. This is BPBD Denpasar, may I help you?”
Ekayuni : “Please help us!”
Ns. Meita : “Whats going on?”
Ekayuni : “I don’t know! My, My sister and brother! They are vomiting
after eat some food. Can you send an ambulance to my house? My
parents are not in home. So I confused what must to do.”
Ns. Meita : “Okay, calm down. May I know where is your location?”
Ekayuni : “Starship Apartment at Pulau Moyo Street Number 24, Denpasar.
Please fast!”
Ns. Meita : “Yes. We will be up in 10 minutes.”

(in BPBD headquarters, Ns. Meita and Ns. Chynthia getting ready to evaluate
Ekayuni location.)

Ns. Meita : “Emergency situation in Starship Apartment at Pulau Moyo

Street Number 24, Denpasar. Check the completeness of the
nursing kit, first aid, and stretcher.”
Ns. Chynthia : “The equipment will be prepared. Nursing kid, first aid, and
stretcher ready.”
Ns. Meita : “Let’s go!”

(10 minuter later, ambulance crew arrived in location and start to evaluate.)

Ns. Meita : “Immediately take the equipment, and give first aid.”
Ns. Chynthia : “Ready.”
(Then they give first aid to patients, check the pulse, frequency of breath, and
airway clearance. While another nurse give first aid to patient whom still
conscious.)

Ns. Meita : “Is there any milk? Please take a glass of milk.”
Ekayuni : (Take a glass of milk, and give it to nurse.) “Here.” (Tremble)
Ns. Chynthia : “Can you calling your family, now?”
Ekayuni : “Yes, I can. (Ekayuni calling her mother.) Hello, mom you must
get back now! There are an accident at home. Elvian and Wirawan
poisoned! I had call an ambulance to bring them to the hospital.
Can you catch us to the hospital? … Sure, I will wait for you
there.”
Ns. Meita : “Immediately, lift the patient and move to the ambulance.”

(They all going to hospital. After arrived, ambulance nurse take the patients to
Emergency Room and for the next patients are treated by nurse at hospital.)

Ns. Chynthia : “Nurse please handle these patients with cases of food poisoning.
A boy suffered mild poisoning, while a girl poisoning is severe.”
Ns. Ade : “Yes, nurse. Please move them to the bed and I will call the
doctor.” (Go to doctor’s room.) “Excuse me doctor, there are two
patients with cases of poisoning food, please immediately handled,
doc.”
dr. Nanda : “How about the vital sign?”
Ns. Ade : “Patient on the bed 1 has blood pressure 80/60 mmHg, pulse 60
x/minutes, respiration 16 x/ minutes, while patient on the bed 2 has
blood pressure 90/70 mmHg, pulse 68x/ minutes, and respiration
18 x/ minutes.”

(Doctor going to patient 1.)

dr. Nanda : “Immediately give oxygen and pair the infusion of NaCl 20 drops
per minutes.”
Ns. Ade : “Got it, doc.”
dr. Nanda : “Do for this patient too.”
Ns. Yuli : “Got it.”

(Doctor going to the second patient, and check his.)

Ns. Ade : “patient having seizures, doc!”

dr. Nanda : “Stop the infusion! Inject 1 mg diazepam every 5 minutes to a
maximum dose of 10 mg, repeat every 2 hours.”
Ns. Ade : “Yes, doc.”
Ns. Yuli : “The second patient’s condition is stable doc.”
dr. Nanda : “If so, move the patient to the observation room as well.”
Ns. Ade : “The first patient’s condition is stable too, doc.”
dr. Nanda : “Now their condition are stable and will be observed for a while.
If their condition improves quickly, the patient can go home
tomorrow at the lates.”
Ekayuni : “Sure. Thank you for your help, doc.”
dr. Nanda : “You’re welcome. You may visit your sister and brother in the
observation room.
